The GPD-403-Wiring component from Yaskawa is specifically tailored for integrating with AC drives. It is optimized for a 200–240 VAC, 3-phase input, ensuring compatibility with standard power systems. The wiring configuration includes dedicated power terminals labeled L1, L2, and L3 for easy connectivity.

Motor connections are facilitated through terminals T1, T2, and T3, allowing for a straightforward setup for motor control. Control connections employ removable screw terminals for secure and user-friendly access. This module supports an analog input range that is selectable between 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, accommodating various configuration needs.

For operational commands, digital input options such as Run, Stop, Jog, and Fault Reset are available, enhancing control capabilities. Users can also benefit from programmable digital outputs, which can be set as relay or open-collector types to suit different application requirements.

Frequency reference can be established using a keypad, analog input, or preset speeds for effective drive operation. For optimal signal quality, the use of shielded cables for analog lines is recommended. Grounding should be done by connecting the protective earth (PE) to the drive chassis ground to ensure safety.

Wiring access flexibility is a notable feature, allowing connections from the top or bottom of the unit, depending on the model. The internal control power supply operates at 24 VDC to support input/output operations. Additionally, adequate fuse or breaker protection is mandated on the input side to minimize risk of damage. To maintain signal integrity, it is essential to keep power wiring separate from signal wiring.
