The Yaskawa PG-D2 speed controller is engineered for use in diverse motor control applications. It employs a V/f control strategy enhanced by PG feedback to ensure accurate speed regulation. The differential pulse input is designed to monitor motor performance effectively. Its maximum response frequency reaches up to 300 kHz, making it suitable for high-speed applications.

The module can accept a PG supply voltage of 12 VDC, with an alternative option of 5 VDC, offering versatility according to system requirements. This model supports a maximum PG supply current of 200 mA, allowing for efficient energy management.

A shielded twisted-pair cable is recommended for reliable signal transmission. The PG wiring length must not exceed 100 meters, ensuring optimal performance without signal degradation. Additionally, the PG-D2 provides a pulse monitor output at RS-422 levels and accommodates a Phase-A differential pulse input for precise feedback.

This speed controller is designed to operate under various environmental conditions, with a relative humidity tolerance of up to 95% (non-condensing). It can function effectively at altitudes of 1000 meters and within an ambient temperature range of -10 to +40°C. The unit is also built to withstand vibrations up to 9.8 m/s², ensuring durability in demanding environments.
