The 1305-BA09A-HA2 is Allen-Bradley adjustable frequency AC drive delivers excellent speed control with an outstanding torque control output throughout the drives speed range. This AC drive which other technical personnel may refer to as a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) enables a AC induction motor to be controlled with modulating speed aside from the basic ON/OFF, FORWARD / REVERSE, JOG, LOCAL / REMOTE and AUTO / MANUAL control.

With AC drives such as this one by Allen-Bradley, controlling the motor in discrete manner is possible by setting the speed of motor from 0Hz to 100Hz. The speed command will not be effective when the Start command to the Motor is not provided with an appropriate signal. Aside from the HIM, the drive may be controlled by external commands though hardwired signaling components such as pushbuttons, switches and other devices. These components are hardwired to the drive’s TB2 terminal which are then provided with an appropriate drive parameter.
