Allen Bradley 1336 IMPACT Drives

The 1336 IMPACT drives by Allen-Bradley are a family of high-performance, microprocessor-based variable frequency AC drives designed to provide precise control of 3-phase motors in applications with precise speed and torque control needs. Drives in this series feature the Field Oriented Vector Control (FOC) that incorporates the patented Allen-Bradley Force technology which combines high levels of motor control performance and digital monitoring capabilities into a single compact package for improved productivity, and which minimizes downtime. The 1336 IMPACT drives also built to provide a cost-effective solution to stand-alone applications, and they have easy-to-use and simplified start-up sequences that help to speed up installation.

The 1336 IMPACT drives are available in frames A1, A2, A3, A4, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H with 3-phase input ratings of 200 to 240 Volts AC, 380 to 480 Volts AC, 500 to 600 Volts AC. They also come with standard power ratings from 0.37 to 485 kilowatts (0.5 to 650 Horsepower) at 0 to 250 Hertz constant torque and a factory customized power rating from 522 to 597 kilowatts (700 to 800 Horsepower) at 0 to 250 Hertz constant torque. The H-Frame and enclosed G-Frame drives are supplied through the configured drive programs. The 1336 IMPACT drives have built-in monitoring and protective capabilities that ensure smooth operations. The available options in this series include AC motor contactors, dynamic braking, user-friendly and multi-language human-machine interface modules, communication interfaces such as the single-point Remote I/O, RS-232/422, and DeviceNet interfaces, control interface boards with or without encoders, and the DriveTools Windows-based configuration software. The 1336 IMPACT drives are available in IP 00 (Open Type), IP 20 (NEMA 1), IP 65 (NEMA 4), and IP 54 (NEMA 12) rated enclosures, and they have an ambient operating temperature range from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (except the drives with IP 00 rated enclosures, which have a 0 to 50 degrees Celsius operating temperature range).
