This Inductor is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, FORCE, and IMPACT drives. The 1336-L-SP13A inductor is designed to block high-frequency pulses while allowing lower frequency pulses. It helps to resist high inrush current to protect the DC bus capacitor and rectifier. The 1336-L-SP13A inductor maximizes the circuit inductance while improving the power quality without dropping the AC input line voltage.



 



The 1336-L-SP13A Inductor can be used to reduce AC input line harmonics. It is situated at the bottom of the host drive. Before the replacement procedure, check the break terminals for the absence of control voltage after removing the power from the drive. Disconnect the AC input and motor output wiring from TB1 to access the inductor easily. The inductor can be taken out from the drive after removing the bolts fastening it. These inductors can attenuate harmonics better than AC line reactors. Placing the inductor at the output side of long lead motor applications will reduce reflections waves to the motor. It helps to absorb voltage and current spikes and it reduces AC ripples on the DC bus. This inductor can quickly troubleshoot and easily be replaced to reduce production downtime. It is recommended to mount the inductor as close to the bottom of the drive as possible. Make sure to leave sufficient distance between the inductor assembly and the drive to provide clearance for wirings.
