The Allen-Bradley 1336-QOUT-SP11A which is a member of the 1336 Drive series is a Transistor Output Assembly. The operating voltage is 575V AC. It also operates on an output power of 50-60 HP. Apart from this module using 3 units of kits for the device; each Transistor Output Assembly has also been specifically designed for C-sized frames. The Transistor Output Assembly has been engineered in such a way that the user will find it simple to assemble and install. A broken transistor can be replaced by this particular transistor. The 1336-QOUT-SP11A can also be used to upgrade an older model transistor.

The process of assembling the 1336-QOUT-SP11A requires the users to disconnect the power. The users should ensure that the bus lever is unlocked in the right position. The modules should then be secured together by using the upper and the lower tongue-and-groove slots. The module should then be moved back along the tongue-and-groove slots. This should be done until the bus connectors line up with each other. To clear the positioning tab, the bus lever should be pushed back slightly. The users can do this with their fingers or a small screwdriver. The bus lever should then be moved to the left until it clicks to allow effective communication between the controller and the module.

By using the tongue-and-groove slots as before, the end cap terminator is attached to the last module. The end cap bus terminator is therefore locked. When DIN rail or panel mounting all the devices, the user should make sure that all debris, including metal chips and wire strands, are kept from falling into the module. Damage on power-up could be caused if debris falls into the module. Spacing on the 1336-QOUT-SP11A should also be maintained between wireways, enclosure walls, and adjustment equipment.
