The 1336-C003-EAD is a 1336 series adjustable frequency AC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its rated input voltage is 500, 575, or 600 Volts AC, 3-phase, at 50 to 60 Hertz. It features a NEMA Type 1 (IP20) enclosure as well as a local LCD, a speed potentiometer, and 4 push-buttons for viewing parameters, for monitoring the drive status, and for programming. It is suitable for meeting speed control requirements for a variety of motors. The SW1 operation available on the 1336-C003-EAD drive allows the users to enable or disable the "Enter" push-button on the user interface to control access to the drive through the SW1 rocker switch. It provides different start/stop modes for different applications including coast-to-stop, ramp-to-stop, and brake-to-stop by DC injection. Unless configured otherwise, all local push-buttons on the 1336-C003-EAD drive remain operational even when remote operation devices are used.
Two indicator lights onboard the 1336-C003-EAD drive indicate the direction of the motor's rotation. It offers protective and diagnostic capabilities including protection against Bus over-voltage, Bus under-voltage, over temperature, motor stall, motor overload, and excessive currents. The 1336-C003-EAD drive is programmed to ignore unintentional start commands. Its modular design allows for easy troubleshooting, maintenance, and parts replacement, thereby reducing production downtime. For troubleshooting purposes, the 1336-C003-EAD 1336 drive requires a 1336-MOD-E1 handheld terminal, an oscilloscope of at least 1 MHz frequency response range, and DVM, DMM, or VOM rated at least 1000 volts. When installed, some components of this drive contain hazardous voltage, hence all input power must be shut off before attempting to replace any components.
