The 1300-EHT terminal is an Enhanced Programming Terminal that comes in 2 different packages. These terminals are either handheld terminals or DHTs that are designed for portable use or being mounted on the system cabinet doors. The terminal is designed to allow the users to set and view parameters, alter the configuration of a drive, check for the faults, monitor the functions of the drive, troubleshoot the drive, and enhance local control of the drive. It comes with a 64-character LCD screen that displays up to 4 lines of text with 16 alphanumeric characters in each line. Additionally, it has a programmable password that secures the drive against unauthorized use. The 1300-EHT Enhanced Programming Terminal is a menu-compelled device designed to provide user access as well as control to a wide range of drive functions. It has a PASSWORD function and an operator programmable feature that protects the drive against unauthorized access. It also comes with a MONITOR function that allows the users to view all the select-group of drive parameters on a single display.
The Parameter feature on the 1300-EHT terminal enhances the configuration or viewing of the single system parameters with every parameter displayed on the 16-character text display screen. These values are either displayed in engineering units, signed or unsigned decimal or hexadecimal. Other functions include EEPROM that enables data transfer between the drive systems or RAM, default storage ROM and the storage EEPROM. The TERM SETUP function allows the operators to configure the desired terminal features found in the limited access mode. The 1300-EHT terminal also has the Fault function that enables the users to report faults, clear the faults, and reset the drive when the fault occurs. Additionally, there is the DRIVE SETUP function that enhances the configuration of the drive for use with the adapter cards.
