The Allen Bradley 123148 DC Contactor is a 2-pole wired renewal DC contactor for the Allen Bradley 1395 Digital DC drives which provides electrical controlled switching for a 1395 drive’s circuit. The 123148 is a 550 Volt DC rated contactor with 1 Normally Open Auxiliary contact, and it has an externally supplied coil voltage of 115 Volts AC, which is controlled by the PSI/Switcher board. This contractor is designed for series A and B Regenerative and Non-Regenerative 1395 DC drives with 230 Volt, 380 Volt, 415 Volt, and 460 Volt AC input ratings, as well as with a power rating of 1 to 30 Horsepower. The 123148 DC Contactor has a maximum current cut-out of 56 Ampere and is suitable for 1395 regenerative and non-regenerative drives with current rating range of 3.6 Ampere to 56 Ampere. It is supplied as standard for the 1395 regenerative and non-regenerative drives, and it connects the output armature bridge to the DC motor. When the 123148 DC Contactor receives 115 Volt AC controlled coiled voltage from the PSI/Switcher board and is energized, the Normally Open Auxiliary contact on the 123148 DC Contactor sends the 115 Volt AC voltage to the power stage interface board. This power stage interface board optically isolated and rectified the 115 Volt AC signal to 5 Volt DC logic signal for the main control board.
