The Allen-Bradley 160-AA12NPS1P1 is a three-phase AC-powered Smart Speed Controller (SSC) equipped with a variable speed, preset speed control and a program keypad module in the 160 series. This keypad consists of 5 programming keys dedicated to the controller’s parameters, 3 control keys, an LED display with 7 segments that shows up to 6 digits, and directional LED indicators. It is also a fan-cooled controller with an IP20 open enclosure that should be installed on a flat surface via 4.5mm diameter mounting screws or with a 35 millimeters DIN rail mount. Users should only install or store the 160-AA12NPS1P1 controller in an environment without any corrosive gas, vapor, or other substance in its atmosphere. Also found on the 160-AA12NPS1P1 are three terminal blocks that are specifically for its control wiring, its motor wiring, and its line power. The controller also has a ready/fault indicating panel with LED status indicator lights which are standard to all 160 series controllers.
