The Allen-Bradley 160-AA12NSF1 module is a variable speed, 3-phase AC Smart Speed Controller (SSC) in the 160 series with an analog signal follower control that can be adjusted by using the external speed potentiometer installed on the controller. In particular, the potentiometer has a 1K-10K Ω range at a minimum rating of 2 Watts. The 160-AA12NSF1 uses an open IP20 enclosure that lets the user install the controller vertically on a plane that is flat but only in an area that is corrosion-free, using a 35 millimeter DIN rail or using mounting screws that have a diameter of 4.5 millimeters or less. This controller comes with a ready/fault panel which shows faults via its built-in LED status indicators, and its 3 terminal blocks, with each block dedicated for the 160-AA12NSF1 controller’s wirings for the motor, the control, and the SSC’s line power.
