The 160-BA03RPS1 is a Bulletin 160 Series “C” variable speed drive. This device is one of the products manufactured by the Allen Bradley brand. The 160-BA03RPS1 has been produced with a simple and compact design; this variable speed drive, (also known as an A.C drive) is estimated to weigh only 1.02 kilograms (2.24 pounds). It also has dimensions that are approximated at 6.00 x 3.15 x 6.51 inches. This variable speed drive has been designed with the Analog Signal Follower model; this model involves a closed-loop process control, otherwise known as a PI Control, where the PI regulator output is utilized to propel the process to the required set point. The 160-BA03RPS1 can also be modified to include a Dynamic Brake Module. This module is very useful in providing an external dynamic braking ability for applications with a duty cycle rating that is less than 5%. For suitable operation, P52 must be allowed. Moreover, the 160-BA03RPS1 has an operational input voltage range of 340 to 506 Volts AC. This AC drive is known to have an enclosure rating of IP20.
