The 160 series, three-phase Allen-Bradley 160-BA04PSF1P1 is a chassis-mounted AC Smart Speed Controller (SSC) that should be installed on a flat and even surface, and installed vertically. Cooled using an external heatsink, this controller should be kept only in a corrosion-free environment that has a temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 50 degrees Celsius) when in operation and it should be stored at a temperature range of -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 85 degrees Celsius). Note that the user can operate this controller at an altitude of not more than 1000 meters or 3300 feet without any derating. The analog signal follower control present on the 160-BA04PSF1P1 controller is programmable via the external speed potentiometer, which has a minimum wattage of 2 Watts and a range of 1K to 10K Ohms.
