The 160-BA04RPS1 is a Replacement Chassis Mount from Allen Bradley, for a Frame Size “A” type Smart Speed Controller (SSC). Do not to touch the drive's surfaces, as they can reach high temperatures capable of causing acute burns. After completing this module’s installation, its debris label should be removed immediately, so as to avoid any type of nuisance tripping or overheating. Disconnect the 160-BA04RPS1 drive from any power source before installing it, in order to prevent electrical shock. Remove the seven screws connecting the heatsink and the intermediate plate. Underneath this, a thermal interface pad will be found on the heatsink; this should be removed. Utilize only appropriate instruments that are not designed to harm the surface of the intermediate plate or heatsink. Clean the surface of the heatsink and intermediate plate with isopropyl alcohol. Using the pattern on the heatsink to align the holes, install the new symmetrical interface pad. The replacement drive 160-BA04RPS1 can then be installed (screws are provided with the drive). Only screws similar to those removed earlier on should be used. For reliable thermal conduction, a torque of 2.0 N-m (18 pounds per inch) should be applied to the screws. Ascertain that there is no damage, wrinkles or fold-ups to the thermal interface pad during installation. Once the power cables are re-connected, the drive can be switched on, ready for use. The Heatsink is UL Type 4/4X/12 approved and has a maximum temperature of 90 degrees Celsius The temperature for the internal enclosure and external heatsink is 0 to 50 and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius respectively.
