The 160-BA06NSF1 is a product of Allen-Bradley for the Smart Speed Controller (SSC) devices that is used for implementing speed control of AC induction motors. This electronic and microprocessor- based hardware may also be called as Variable Speed Controller which uses an analog speed follower where an external analog signal is used as the speed refence of the drive.

This drive is generally used for small capacity motors and features a compact and scalable hardware. Being a scalable hardware, this drive supports installation of Programming keypads with varieties such as a handheld or remote mounted keypad. As a default, the ready fault indicating panel is installed to the Speed controller that is used to indicate the drive’s Ready and faulted status.
