The Allen-Bradley Servo Controller 1394C-AM75 is a Servo (Axis) Amplifier with a 530-680 DC Input Voltage, 23.8 Kilowatt Output Rating, 35 A Amperage, Inside Cabinet Heatsink, Filtering (EMI) and Enhanced Terminations Series Enhancements.
This Bulletin 2094 Line Interface Module (LIM) helps replace several necessary input power components. Using a LIM module helps save panel space as well as greatly reducing the amount of necessary wiring. Auxiliary and control power (230 Volts) is developed from the LIM module three-phase input power.
Axis modules can be connected to system modules by using slide-and-lock and module-to-module connections.
Other necessary supplies include three-phase input fusing, a three-phase input contactor, 24 Volts of AC or DC logic power for the system module and contactor to enable (Analog Servo only)/DRIVEOK power (all modules).
System modules, which are available with 5, 10 and 22 kiloWatt ratings (at 460 Volts), house the system control PCB. They convert 360 to 480 Volts AC, three-phase, 50/60 Hertz input power to a 530 to 680 Volt DC link voltage. It is important to know that 5 and 10 kiloWatt system modules have an internal shunt resistor with a 200 Watt continuous rating and a peak rating of 40,000 Watts. For these systems, an external shunt resistor kit (1394-SR10A) is available along with regenerative loads exceeding the capacity of the internal 200W shunt resistor. Most 5 and 10 kiloWatt systems do not require a shunt resistor kit. Both 1394 and 8520 catalog items are included in this. The 22 kiloWatt module requires an external shunt module. Its dimensions are 13.8 x 11.0 x 2.95 inches (350 x 280 x 75 millimeters) and it weighs 15.44 pounds (7 kilograms).
