The Allen-Bradley 1394CSJT22T three-phase system module is part of the 1394 digital AC multi-axis motion control system family. It has a 360 to 480 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz input voltage with ground fault and phase loss protection. This series C module comes with enhanced connections and terminations, EMI filtering, and a cable clamp for strain relief. Its Smart Power control optimizes processes through power use monitoring. And it features Soft Start which limits current flow for DC link charging.

Rated at 22 kW, the 1394CSJT22T Smart Power System requires an external shunt kit because there is no internal shunt resistor. Excess regenerative power should be dissipated to avoid overheating and this is what the shunt module is for. It can fit inside or outside the enclosure. When mounting it inside, make sure that the ambient temperature does not exceed 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50 degrees Celsius). To ensure optimal performance and part life, do not mount temperature-sensitive components on top of the shunt module. Allow clearance on all sides for wiring and airflow. The 1394CSJT22T is powered by an efficient and quiet IGBT technology. This GMC Turbo module executes the programs faster and provides more GML application program memory. It features Remote I/O and AxisLink for network and device connectivity. It supports up to 4 axes and 4 auxiliary encoder inputs. Plus, it does not require additional inductors or isolation transformers with its direct-line operation.
