* The Allen Bradley 4100-212-R has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 4100-212-R units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 4100-212-R Integrated Motion Controller comes with two axes, a 90-132V AC or a 175-264V AC input voltage, and ten dedicated discrete inputs. This unit also contains a serial port and a remote I/O port as its communication options. This device is a compact and rugged microprocessor based on a two-axis servo motion controller. Relying also on the external drive systems and on the feedback encoders, the 4100-212-R offers two axes of closed-loop point-to-point positioning that has profile acceleration and deceleration and helical interpolation. Its electronic gearing feature allows any axis in the system to be slaved to any programmable ratio.
Its many capabilities such as auto-correction, electronic cam, auto registration, and phase shift make it possible to program difficult motions and synchronizations. With the I/O communication options, analog inputs, and analog outputs, this device offers the best link to any input or output. The application programs are also executed easily in a period of less than one µs, increasing its productivity. It helps maintain its temperature or humidity with its digital potentiometers. The 4100-212-R can feature a multitasking operating system that makes it easy for it to perform up to 10 tasks and at the same time increasing its effectiveness.
