Before mounting the Allen-Bradley 2071-AP0 Kinetix component servo drive, it is recommended to leave clearances in order to allow ventilation. The servo drive must be mounted in an upright position, not on its side. The recommended wiring must be copper with at least 75 degrees Celsius as the minimum rating.



The Allen-Bradley 2071-AP0 Kinetix component servo drive must be grounded in the cabinet ground bus. It needs to be attached with a braided ground strap or solid-copper wire with a diameter of at least 0.4 millimeters and a length of 100 millimeters. Grounding the equipment will prevent it from being affected by electromagnetic interference. The Allen-Bradley 2071-AP0 Kinetix component servo drive uses internal motor short-circuit protection.
