The Allen-Bradley 2071-AP4 is a Kinetix 3 Servo Drive series product. These drives are specially designed to be used for industrial process control. The 2071-AP4 runs on 240 Volts AC Input Voltage, 7.14 Input Current, and 3.3 Amps Output Current. This 2071-AP4 drive works with the TL-A230P motor sufficiently and it has 400 W of power. It also features single-phase operations with 30 W of shunt power dedicated to motor-stopping control. For the ultimate user control, this drive has an indexing mode as well as a designed communication port for the RS-485 and RS-232 communication modules.
The Kinetix 3 Servo Drives, as well as the Allen-Bradley 2071-AP4, are intended to offer maximum input and to engineer control for servo devices. These drives use the AC power for input, and they operate within the range of 220 to 240 Volts AC. All the drive in the Kinetix 3 Servo series is equipped with the Motor Overload Protection feature. This is built and intended for the solid-state motors which also adhere to the UL requirements. Every drive features multiple Human Machine Interface options, comprising Analog, Modbus, and Digital interfaces. On the other hand, these drives come with 64 points for indexing through the serial port via serial communications or over digital I/O. It comes with an easy-to-use Modbus-RTU serial communications with easy maintenance, thus providing the ability to change any drive parameter via the controller or the HMI in runtime. The Allen-Bradley 2071-AP4 Kinetix 3 Servo Drive is easy to configure. Its parameters are assembled and named using logical and comprehensible default values, thus providing a true plug and play experience. The drive also has the automatic motor recognition feature as well as gain settings which make things easier during start-up and it also aids in achieving the best outcome. With simple commissioning, this drive has two adaptive notch filters which can adjust automatically when the drive is online to help in removing harmful resonance as well as vibration.
