The 2097-V33PR5 is a Kinetix Ethernet I/P Indexing Servo Drive. This Servo Drive is manufactured by Allen-Bradley that is built with Safe Torque-Off feature, certified for ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL2 levels. This drive has a rated output current of 11.3 A, output power of 2.0 kW with nominal input voltages of 80-132VAC, 1-phase, 80-264VAC, 1-Phase and 80-264VAC, 3-Phase.
The 2097-V33PR5 is designed to seamlessly integrate with MP series and TL series motors and actuator. For MP series motors. Compatible motors are MPL-A320H, MPL-A320P, MPL-A230P, MPL-A320H, MPL-A320P, MPM-A1151M, MPS-A330P, MPF-A320H, MPF-A320P, MPF-A320H, and MPF-A320P motors. For TL series, this kinetix drive is specifically compatible with TLY-A2530P, TLY-A2540P, TLY-A310M, TLY-A2530P, TLY-A2540P, and TLY-A310M. It may also be used with Linear Thruster actuators and linear stage or ball screw stages. Allen-Bradley recommends use of fuse and circuit breakers for protection of the drive. For UL applications and 1-Phase 120/240VAC, the recommended bussmann fuse is KTK-R-30 (30 A) and circuit breaker of 1489-A1C300. For UL application and 3-Phase application, recommended bussmann fuse is KTK-R-20 (20 A) and 1489-A3C200 circuit breaker.
This servo drive is required to be installed inside an enclosure with appropriate climate control system. When selecting climate control devices such as heater and cooler, the unit power dissipation of 67 Watts must be considered. For appropriate air flow for ventilation, the drive requires a minimum clearance of 3 mm or 0.12 inches on both sides and 25 mm or 1-inch bottom and rear clearance. Depending on the installed accessories, additional clearances may be needed.
The 2097-V33PR5 comes with a flexible control architecture that can execute 5 different indexing types and support S-Curve and trapezoidal moves, and 32 index capabilities for position-control performance. It enables indexing, PTO, analog, and Ethernet/IP commanded control of actuators and servo motors. It comes with the Smart Motor Technology that automatically classifies and establishes the correct motor-to-drive connectivity when used with TL-Series and MP-Series drive components. This greatly reduces commissioning time. Other control features include master gearing, analog input control, and step and direction control. The 2097-V33PR5 Servo Drive is equipped with a Safe Torque-Off feature that meets the stop and protection-against-restart requirements of EN ISO 13849-1. This drive-integrated function is used to prevent unintentional rotation of the motor in the event of an emergency. This means that maintenance and troubleshooting tasks can be done safely even while the drive remains connected to the power supply.
