The 2097-V33PR6 is an Ethernet I/P Kinetix Indexing Servo drive. This drive is operated by applying input voltage with variations of 100V class, 200V class and 400V class. Specifically, the voltage ranges compatible for this Kinetix Drive are 80-132VAC, 1-phase, 80-264VAC, 1-Phase and 80-264VAC, 3-Phase.

This Ethernet I/P indexing drive features a continuous output current and power of 17.0 A and 3.0 kW respectively, with power dissipation of 117 Watts. It has an integrated Safe Torque-Off functionality which prevent the drive from restating when safety circuit is tripped. This Safe Torque-ff feature is certified at ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL2 and may be used with external relay to comply with EN954-1, Category 3.

This drive supports five different index types and as many as 32 indices. It supports installation of a memory module for automatic drive replacement. For integrating with CompactLogix controllers, this drive utilizes Allen-Bradley’s Integrated Architecture System.

The drive’s single Ethernet I/P interface is used to implement motion control over Ethernet as well as communication with remote I/O devices and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).

This Kinetix drive rated operating temperature is 0…40 °C (32…104 °F) with relative humidity 5…95% non-condensing. It may be operated with a maximum altitude 1500 m or 5000 ft with a 1% derate for every 300 m increase in altitude.

The 2097-V33PR6 Servo Drive provides a cost-efficient setup with its simple panel layout and flexible control architecture. Only one standard Ethernet network is required to drive an entire machine, eliminating the need for a dedicated Motion Control Network. This keeps the connectivity fast and reliable while allowing easy configuration and startup of motors and actuators. The drive also features a wide range of control capabilities involving S-Curve and trapezoidal moves, 5 different index types and 32 indexes for position-control performance. The 2097-V33PR6 features a compact design with dimensions of 9.04 by 2.68 inches. The correct way to mount the module is in an upright position. Do not mount it on its side. For airflow and installation, observe a clearance 25 by 3mm. Add more clearance to the right side of the drive to accommodate the additional side-mount AC line filter. The system will be of an open-type construction so make sure that no debris falls into it. Any foreign debris lodged into the circuitry can damage the components.
