The 2198-S086-ERS3 Kinetix 5700 Single Axis Inverter by Allen-Bradley is a single-axis inverter module used for control of machines with high-axis counts and with high power needs. The inverter has 100Hz and 400Hz current/velocity loop bandwidths with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency of 4000Hz and it has a 43A continuous output current with a 0-pk output current of 60.8A. Both output currents (continuous and 0-pk) peak at 86A and 121.6A and the inverter supplies a nominal output power of 29.7KW. It requires a DC input current of 45.7ADC and it has an internal capacitance of 560μF. The 2198-S086-ERS3 has a control power rating of 4.6A for non-brake servo motors, and 9.6A for brake servo motors and it has a surge of 4A on start-up. It has a maximum power dissipation at a percentage-rated power output of 190W at 20%, 225W at 40%, 325W at 60%, 300W at 80%, and 475W at 100%.
