The Allen-Bradley 2094-BC01-M01-S is a Kinetix 6000 multi-axis integrated power module that comes with a safe torque off feature. This 2094-BC01-M01-S Kinetix Drive contains an inverter and converter section. It comes with a 9 A inverter power and a 6 kW converter power, as well as a wattage of 3.9 kW. This 3-phase module has a voltage rating of 460V AC and a line frequency of 47-63 Hz. Mounting of the 2094-BC01-M01-S module is done via a power rail. The 2094-BC01-M01-S is a 400 volt-class drive. The input voltage of this Kinetix 6000 Multi-axis Servo Drive is 360-480V AC. Kinetix 6000 Multi-axis servo drives are designed to provide Kinetix Integrated Motion for the drive, motor and actuator applications.

The Allen-Bradley 2094-BC01-M01-S is a Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo module. Specifically, this product is an integrated axis module that is used to receive feedback signals from compatible servo motors for conditioning and processing. This drive is compatible for use with a variety of Allen-Bradley drives, whether Kinetix or non-Kinetix rotary motors, such as Kinetix MP, Kinetix TL/TLY, Kinetix RDB, 1326AB, and the F-Series. It also supports Linear motors including LDC-Series, LDL-Series and Linear actuators particularly LDAT series.

Through the integrated SERCOS interface, the 2094-BC01-M01-S may be connected in linear or ring topology using Fiber optic media. This enables high-speed data communication and provides the highest susceptibility to electrical noise. Additionally, it may be partnered with SERCOS interface modules and cards such as the 1756-MxxSE ControlLogix SERCOM interface module; 1768-M04SE CompactLogix SERCOS interface module, and the 1784-PM16SE PCI card SERCOS PCI SoftLogix communication card.

The 2094-BC01-M01-S supports Safe Torque-Off (STO) functionality. This integrated safety feature is certified at ISO 13849-1 PLe/SIL3. If compliance to EN954-1 Category 3 is needed, an external safety relay may be needed. The STO’s main functionality is mainly used to prevent drive restart after the safety circuit is tripped.

Being part of the Kinetix 6000 multi-axis drives, the 2094-BC01-M01-S is able to deliver torque up to 250% of continuous rated current. Additionally, with an increased peak current, power supply and axis modules may be downsized.
