The 2094-BC02-M02 servo motor drive is one of the drives available through the Kinetix 6000 series by Allen-Bradley. These modular drives will certainly contribute to better productivity, and its embedded safety features will provide necessary protection for personnel. These flexible drives are not problematic for maintenance and can help users in decreasing the time for engineering and installation during motion applications. The drives from the Kinetix 6000 series are compatible with Kinetix 6200 drives and all have Integrated Motion capabilities through SERCOS interfaces, which enable enhancement of the drives. It makes use of the integrated axis module but it lacks the safe torque feature. These modules have both an inverter and a converter. The inverter uses 15 Amps of current while the converter uses 15 Kilowatts. The 2094-BC02-M02 carries certifications from standards like the C-Tick, CCC, CUL, KC, and UL standards. The 2094-BC02-M02 drive has an input voltage (AC) of 324 to 528 Volts RMS with three phases and a nominal voltage of 360 to 480 Volts. The current of the main AC input includes 10 Amps of nominal (RMS) and 11 Amps of maximum inrush (0-pk). The DC input voltage is a 458 to 747 Volts DC with an Amperage of 9 Amps. In addition to that, the AC input voltage of control power is 95 to 264 Volts RMS and it includes a single phase and a nominal voltage of 110 to 240 Volts RMS. The cycling of control power includes a maximum of 2 cycles per minute with a 90% on-time/10% off-time duty cycle. Besides that, the 2094-BC02-M02 drive has a nominal bus output voltage of 650 Volts DC and a line loss ride through of 20 RMS. It should be mentioned that the drive has a shunt on of 805 Volts DC and shunt off of 755 Volts DC. The continuous output current to bus is 9 Amps while the drive’s bus overvoltage/undervoltage is 825/275 Volts DC. The front panel of the drive houses different LED indicators to show information related to the status and the running of the drive. The 2094-BC02-M02 shows the communication status, the Bus status, and the Drive status LED. Feedback connectors are also present in this drive. Using these connectors, the drive can send feedback using both motor feedback and auxiliary feedback. The drive also features advanced diagnostics and it has a fault status LED with 7 segment alerts. It uses a SERCOS interface module for connection purposes; SERCOS is an IEC 61491 Serial real-time communication system which uses the fiber-optic cable. These fiber-optic cables are immune to electrical noise. The weight of the drive is 5 kilograms (11.2 pounds) and its operating temperature ranges from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). The installation space should have proper airflow and it should be free from electrical discharge and electromagnetic interference. The seating base of the drive should not experience any kind of shocks or vibrations.

This allows the drive to be fully integrated with the Logix controller family such as CompactLogix and ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform. By integrating this module to the controller, parameters may be mapped directly via program instructions and add-on instructions and profiles.

The 2094-BC02-M02 has nominal bus output voltage of 650V DC and line loss ride through of 20 ms. For series A 2094-BC02-M02, the peak output current to bus is 45.2 A and 56.4 A for Series B, C, and D drives. Similarly, the peak output power to bus is 30 kW for Series A drive and 37.5 kW for Series B, C, and D drives. This drive has bus overvoltage rating of 825V DC and Bus undervoltage of 275V DC.

This version of Integrated axis module does not come with a Safe Torque-Off (STO) functionality. This safety feature is available to the counter-part product, Safe Torque-Off (STO), however, this drive is equipped with internal diagnostic and protection features that offers basic protection to the drive, process and operator.
