The Allen-Bradley 2094-PRS8 is a power rail with 8 inverter slots and 1 converter slot. This 8-axis power rail belongs to the 2094-PRS-x Series of power rails. It weighs 4.43kg (9.7 lb) and is compatible with the Kinetic 6000 drive systems. Thus, the power rail can accommodate one IAM and no more than 7 extra modules and it can only serve the 230V or 460V power systems. In addition, when installing the 2094-PRS8, note the mounting slot dimensions so you can position the power rail properly in the enclosure. A torque of around 45.0lb.in is enough to fasten the bolts. Make sure to mount the bonded cabinet ground onto the braided grounding strap from the ground stud.

The 2094-PRS8 package includes one (1) 100 millimeter or 3.9 inch ground strap (braided) and protective covers for each of the power rail connection slots. The protective covers not only protect users from accidental touching the conductor pins but also prevent small contaminants, especially small conductive materials, from entering the slots. Typical sources of these small conductive elements are cut-out or drilled-out panel material produced during installation.

Possible module combinations that may be installed to this power rail include one (1) Integrated Axis Module (IAM) and seven (7) Axis Modules (AM), or one (1) IAM, six (6) AM and one (1) shunt module.
