The Allen-Bradley 22B-D2P3C104 drive is 0.5 Horsepower AC drive. It belongs to the PowerFlex 40 drive family. The drive input is designed for 480 Volts AC operation and it includes a brake IGBT. PowerFlex 40 drives offer excellent performance and they can accelerate to 150% of the load. At a full load, PowerFlex 40 drives run the motor at a synchronous speed. This family of drives offers excellent current regulation, linear acceleration, and best-in-class repeatability and digital input response. The 22B-D2P3C104 drive supports 342 to 528 Volts AC input voltage (3-phase, 48 to 63 Hertz). The drive consumes 2.3 kVA of power and it draws 3.2 Amps of current.  At the output, the drive delivers 0.5 Horsepower and 2.3 Amps of current. The displacement power factor for the drive is 0.98 across the complete speed range. The maximum short circuit rating is 100,000 Amps symmetrical.

The 22B-D2P3C104 drive supports Class 10 motor protection. The over-voltage trip occurs at 810 Volts DC which corresponds to 575 Volts AC at the drive input. The under voltage trip occurs at 390 Volts DC which corresponds to 275 Volts AC at the drive input. The 22B-D2P3C104 drive can be configured from the integrated HMI which features a keypad and an LCD. The drive can also be configured from a PC that is connected to the RS-485 drive interface through a serial converter module.
