The Allen-Bradley 25A-B032N104 is an Adjustable Frequency AC drive. This product is part of the PowerFlex 523 product family which is a compact and highly-scalable drives. This drive is mainly an electronic product that is used to perform basic and advanced motor control including speed regulation.

The 25A-B032N104 has an enclosure rated IP20 NEMA / Open. It supports Vertical and Horizontal Zero Stacking installation. Regardless of the installation orientation, the required mounting clearance on all sides of the module is 50 mm or approximately 2 inches on all sides of the drive.

The 25A-B032N104 is a Frame A drive. It has an input voltage range of 200-240VAC, 3-phase with output voltage of 0-230VAC, 3-Phase, with rated Current of 32.2 A and Power of 7.5 kW (10 HP) for both normal and heavy duty operation. It is capable of Volts / Hertz (V/F) control method, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), PointStop technology that is used to stop the motor load in a consistent position without encoder feedback. It is also capable of implementing Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) control for automatic and manual control of an analog control loop. With PowerFlex 523 such as 25A-B032N104 supports a single PID loop.

The 25A-B032N104 comes with embedded Input and output channels such as One (1) Analog Input, Five (5) Discrete Inputs, One (1) Analog output and One (1) Relay output in Form C configuration. It has integral RS485 communication interface that supports daisy-chain topology for multi-node communication. Up to 31 drives may be connected over the RS485 connection.

The PowerFlex 523-series is designed to work control an AC motor and perform speed regulation. A user can rely on its advanced features in the areas of innovative design with numerous control options, connection flexibility, energy savings, communications and effortless programming, and it provides different modes of work such as volts per hertz, sensorless vector control and economizer mode.

In addition to effectively conserving time, this product can conserve space with a compact product design and with only 50 millimeters of clearance required at the top and bottom of the device. This is a flexible mounting device, with options to be installed either vertically or horizontally (in either orientation side by side mountable). PowerFlex AC drives can be configured in numerous ways. The HMI interface of the device has a 5-digit LCD display and integral keypad. Its HMI displays parameter values, codes and text descriptions. Fast configuration is supported by predetermined groups of the most common applications (such as blowers, conveyors, mixers, extruders etc.). In this way, relevant machinery can be made ready to run in a minimal amount of time, therefore increasing productivity. The Hardware interface comprises 5 digital inputs (all 24 Volts DC, 4 of them programmable), 1 analog input, and 1 relay.
