The Allen Bradley 20AB6P8F0AYNANC0 PowerFlex 70 adjustable frequency AC drive from Bulletin 20A series is a three-phase drive with an input voltage of 240 Volts AC at 60 Hertz, an Amperage of 6.8 Amps, and a 2 Hp power (normal duty) or 1.5 Hp (heavy duty). This drive has a B size frame and a flange mount enclosure with an IP20, NEMA/UL Type 1 front chassis and a NEMA/UL Type 4X/12 rear heatsink for indoor/outdoor use. For additional protection, this drive’s housing is covered with a conformal coating to protect the electronic circuits during its use in a harsh environment in which moisture occurs or chemical contaminants could damage the hardware. This drive weighs only 3.60 kilograms (7.9 pounds) and has a width of 171.7 millimeters (7.76 inches), a height of 234.6 millimeters (9.24 inches) and a depth of 179.8 millimeters (7.08 inches). The 20AB6P8F0AYNANC0 is completely user configurable and can be set up according to customer’s needs. The drive has a typical programmable controller for internal communication which must be configured according to the manual that is provided with the device.

The 20AB6P8F0AYNANC0 is not equipped with a Human-Module Interface (HMI/Blank Plate). In addition, it does not have a brake resistor mounted, but has a brake IGBT installed. The PowerFlex 70 drive comes with a Second environment filter due to the CE EMC directive (89/336/EEC), enhanced control, and no communication module or feedback. The emission class of this drive is rated as optionally filtered. The drives from PowerFlex 70 line of products can also be used with output devices such as output reactors, output contactors, and cable terminators, and additionally, the drive can be programmed to stop and protect the motor from overload when a single motor is used. If the motor is running at 100% for more than 30 minutes, the drive can operate at 150% of FLA for 60 seconds. It should be taken into consideration that the drive is operating above [Motor OL Hertz], and that [Motor OL Factor] is set to 1.00.
