The 20AC072A3AYNACC0 is a PowerFlex 70 series AC drive from Rockwell Automation. The drive has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The E-framed body is powered with a 400 Volts AC supply. The drive draws power from a 3-phase electric source. The drive is a cost-effective solution for regulating the speed and torque of a machine by adjusting the frequency. The 20AC072A3AYNACC0 drive uses 72 Amps of current and it generates 50 Horsepower. The drive comes with different standard drive certifications and it also comes with EMC capabilities. The 20AC072A3AYNACC0 drive is not affected by electromagnetic noise. An IGBT braking system is equipped with a variant of an AC drive but no braking resistor is present. The drive uses a ControlNet adapter for communication purpose.

The 20AC072A3AYNACC0 has a voltage tolerance level of -10% minimum and a maximum level of +10%. The input frequency tolerance of the AC drive ranges from 47 to 63 Hertz.  The drive also features an intermittent overload feature. The drive can operate with 110% overload capacity up to 1 minute and a 150% overload for 3 seconds. The drive comes with class 10 motor overload protection as per the NEC standards and the motor over temperature protection feature. The front panel of the 20AC072A3AYNACC0 drive comes with human-machine interface module which is a numeric keypad with a backlit LCD. The drive also has a panel-mounted enclosure for mounting purposes with an IP20 rating. The enclosure is not water-resistant. The drive has a heatsink thermistor to trip the drive for over-temperature protection. The drive uses a cooling fan to decrease the temperature of the drive. The cooling fan kicks in when power is applied to the drive and during the running condition of the drive. The drive can be operated at an altitude of up to 1000 meters above sea level without being derated.
