The Allen-Bradley 20AD014A3AYNANC1 PowerFlex 70 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is a variable frequency drive (VFD) with enhanced control and a high degree feedback device designed to provide a control solution to a wide range of applications with the need for high levels of torque and speed control. It features an enhanced motor control option, with a feedback option for precise speed control over a load, and with this feedback, it can deliver up to 0.001% open-loop speed control and +/-5% torque regulation for more accurate control. The 20AD014A3AYNANC1 has a 3-phase 6-pulse voltage class of 480 Volts AC, with a net power output of 7.5 Kilowatts, and a normal duty rating of 14 Amps. By employing suitable circuit breakers and fusible devices, this drive can deliver up to 200,000 Amps of maximum fault limit, and it also offers a 0.98 displacement power factor. This drive has inertia ride-through capability, an inbuilt function which allows for a continuous trip-less ride-through for 15 milliseconds of power loss by using rotating energy from low-friction high-inertia loads.

It offers BUS voltage regulation and digital current limiting action for optimized operation, and it has field-replaceable Metal Oxide Varistors across its circuit, for protection against line transient spikes of up to 6000 Volts and for ground fault protection. The 20AD014A3AYNANC1 also has microcomputer-controlled temperature monitoring, and it is capable of providing a Class 10 motor overload protection feature designed to meet the NEC standards. Like every PowerFlex 70 enhanced drive, it can be programmed for the Volts per Hertz control, a standard control option suitable for simple fan and pump application, and it can also be programmed for the Sensorless Vector control, an enhanced control option designed to accommodate a wide range of applications with high torque control over a wide speed range. The 20AD014A3AYNANC1 can be programmed and controlled via a full numeric interface module option, with an easy-to-read multi-language text and programming keypads for data entry and control. It is designed within a space-saving NEMA/UL enclosure suitable for conventional mounting inside and outside a control cabinet, and it is capable of tolerating a maximum temperature of 50 degrees Celsius.  The 20AD014A3AYNANC1 is a Frame C drive with 6.9 kilograms of average shipping weight and 185.0 x 300.0 x 179.8 millimeters of total mounting dimensions.
