The Allen-Bradley 20AD027A2AYNANNN PowerFlex 70 drive is a D Frame AC drive with standard control that is designed to meet the speed and torque control needs of a high-performance motion control system. This drive features factory-installed LCD human-machine interface module with a digital functional and numeric keypad, a 7 lines by 21 characters display screen, and a multi-language display text for easy startup, configuration, control, and troubleshooting. The 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive comes with a flexible IP 20 (NEMA Type 1) packaging and a panel mounting option for easy installation inside and outside the cabinet. The 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive has a 3-phase voltage rating of 480 Volts AC and an acceptable input range of +/-10% of the rated input. It has a current rating of 27 Amps and a total power output of 15 kilowatts (20 Horsepower). The 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive has a displacement power factor of 0.98 (across all speed ranges) and a drive efficiency rating of 97.5% at the rated input.

The 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive offers fast-acting current limit and voltage regulation, which results in maximum acceleration and deceleration speeds without tripping, and it also offers an inertia ride through function, which provides tripless operation even in the case of a prolonged power loss. The 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive offers Volts per Hertz control and the sensorless vector control (SVC) as standard motor control options, and it utilizes the sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for additional control. Like all PowerFlex 70 drives, the 20AD027A2AYNANNN drive comes with an integral IGBT brake transistor that offers dynamic braking for the dissipation of regenerated energy and it eliminates excess voltage buildup, and it also has a built-in EMC line filter for protection against line RFI between the line and the drive.
