The 20AD1P1C3AYNNNNN comes with Volt/Hertz control, Sensorless Vector control, and the Flux Vector control to control and regulate the speed and torque. The drive features a full numeric LCD as a human-machine interface module. It is used to feed information and parameters to the drive. The module supports multiple languages and it has calculator-like keypads for faster and easy data entry. Control keys for local starting and stopping are in the keypad. Other keys include the navigational keys and function keys.

The drive makes use of the Logix control platform for premier integration with PowerFlex devices.
