The 20AD3P4F3AYNANC0 Drive is a PowerFlex 70 AC drive and a product of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is part of the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 70 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive product line. The module has an A Frame size and it has an input voltage rating of 480 Volts AC, 3.4 Amps of current, and a Horsepower rating of 2.0 Horsepower or 1.5 kilowatts. The 20AD3P4F3AYNANC0 Drive supports flange mounting on the front chassis with an IP 20, NEMA and UL Type 1 enclosure rating and mounting on the rear heatsink with an IP 66, NEMA, and UL Type 4X, 12 enclosure type that is designed for indoor use only. The Allen-Bradley 20AD3P4F3AYNANC0 PowerFlex 70 Adjustable Frequency Drive also comes with a full numeric human-machine interface module LCD that enhances user visualization and interaction with their machines. Other features of this drive include an IGBT brake, filtered optional Frames A and B, and standard Frames C, D, and E. Also, the drive has enhanced control with no safe torque-off and no feedback–enhanced control.

The 20AD3P4F3AYNANC0 Drive does not feature an internal brake resistor option, and neither does it come with a network communication slot such as an EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, or RIO slot. Some of the PowerFlex drives like this one come with a sticky adhesive label on the top of the chassis, and the removal of this label changes the drive’s NEMA, UL Type 1 enclosure rating to an Open Type rating. Also, these drives feature different maximum environmental air temperatures. For instance, the drives with the Open Type, NEMA UL Type 1, IP 20 and flange mount enclosure ratings have a temperature range between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius while the drives with the IP 54/IP 66 NEMA UL Type 12, 4X enclosure ratings have a temperature range between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius.
