The Allen-Bradley 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1 drive is a variable speed induction motor controller. By being part of the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex series of drives, the 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1 drive uses the NetLinx open network architecture that allows for easy configuration, data collection, and drive control on a single network. By being interfaced with the common industrial protocol, the NetLinx open network architecture provides for common control of services such as messaging, and common communication services let the users enable data collection from any network, and this eliminates the need for routing tables or additional logic for the data to travel between networks.
The Allen-Bradley 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1 accommodates faceplates and the tools found in the PowerFlex Accelerator Toolkit. These faceplates and tools enable the 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1, like other PowerFlex drives, to be installed, maintained, and operated more easily. The toolkit contains simplified wiring diagrams and preconfigured human-machine interface modules and logic modules. The 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1, being a PowerFlex 700 drive, is certified by the UL, cUL, C-Tick, Lloyds Registry, and ABS standards. The 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1 has an overload capacity of 110% when operating at a normal duty application for 60 seconds and its overload capacity is 150% for 3 seconds. Additionally, the drive allows an overload capacity of 150% for 60 seconds and a 200% one for 3 seconds when the drive is used in a heavy-duty application. For the user interface, the 20BD3P4A3AYNANC1 has an LCD with a full numeric keypad. The drive, as with other PowerFlex 700 drives, features 2 analog inputs. Also, the drive features an internal brake transistor, a DC link choke, and a common mode choke.
