The Allen-Bradley 1398-DDM-019X-DN is an Ultra 100 Servo Drive that handles a large variety of apps. The digital drive can be established as a velocity servo, stepper, indexing, or master encoder drive. Microcontrollers aid the drive in the digital management position, current, and velocity. A DeviceNet interface card enables you to remotely reprogram and command the Ultra 100 Servo Drive. The card provides a direct connection between the drive and the DeviceNet network. The host commission protocol establishes many drives for the 1398-DDM-019X-DN. This drive weighs 4.4 lbs and it comes with the Allen-Bradley 9101-1518 AC line filter. The 1398-DDM-019X-DN servo drive needs a continuous input current of 18 A. The AC sinusoidal wave’s frequency ranges between 47 and 63Hz. The current produced reaches its peak at 30A and runs continuously at 10A. It produces a continuous power of 2kW. The servo drive can also be blended with the high-performance motor line of a brushless servo. Each 1398-DDM-019X-DN servo drive requires an input of a single-phase 115-230V AC power. It also requires an external source of logic power between 12V and 24V for an inbuilt input-output logic power. The servo drive drives a brushless servo motor, which depends on an AC sine wave to produce a continuous torque ranging between 1.5lb.in and 22.5lb.in and it has a peak torque ranging between 4.3lb.in and 63lb.in. The 1398-DDM-019X-DN also comes with an advanced command and control algorithm for looping a leading-edge velocity bandwidth and position, and the current is digital. An input velocity command relies on a 14-bit A/D conversion. The 1398-DDM-019X-DN servo drive is also equipped with an electromagnetic compatible (EMC) filter, which is protected internally. The interfaces of command can either be analog or digital. It has 10 I/O, which are optically separated. Six of these are customizable by the user. It has a single analog input for a maximum external current and a single analog output for distributing torques or monitoring variable. The I/O has a limitless potential. The 1398-DDM-019X-DN is also equipped with RS-232/RS-485 communication devices on a serial port.
