The Allen-Bradley 1398-DDM-020 ULTRA 200™ Servo Drive is a member of the 1398 ULTRA ™ Series. The module weighs 14.02 lbs and it has a 7-segment LED status display. This servo drive has phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short-circuit protection. The peak output current of this version is 20A, the internal continuous output current is 10A, and the Internal continuous output power is 2 kW. The internal continuous shunt power of this drive is 50W. The internal peak shunt power of the 1398-DDM-020 is 4.5 kW. The continuous input current 19A. The input voltage varies from 100-240V AC RMS nominal (88-265 Volts) at 47-63 Hz.

The 1398-DDM-020 Servo Drive has features that include a DC bus that is used for power leveling or using a shared power supply and it is available externally and a splendid multi-processor design. For precise speed command input, there is a 16-bit A/D converter. The flash memory can be upgraded and the personality module can save settings parameters and ease drive replacement. It is resistant to electromagnetic waves because there are internally-shielded filters. The 1398-DDM-020 has an air intake and an air exhaust for circulation and to keep the drive temperature.
