The 1398-PDM-075 is an Allen-Bradley ULTRA Plus Drive which is a high-performance, integrated positioner drive. The drive uses GML Ultra with the user interface of Microsoft Windows for ULTRA Plus drives. The product provides a specific user interface and graphics programming environment for the drive.
The 1398-PDM-075 runs on 115-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. Its continuous output current is 35A, its continuous output power is 7 kW, the internal continuous shunt power dissipation is 50W, and the internal peak shunt power is 10 kW. The 1398-PDM-075 weighs 21 lb. It operates at a temperature range of 32-122ºF and it can be stored in a temperature range of -40-176ºF. The 1398-PDM-075’s compatible storage and operating humidity range is 5-95% non-condensing.
The 1398-PDM-075 uses Single Arbitrary Power between L1 and L2/N as its power source. The module is designed for installation on the flat surface such as a plate or a back wall. The environment for the installation should be free from oil, moisture, conductive particles, and any sort of corrosive particles. The enclosure should be well-ventilated and properly managed.
This high-performance drive requires 3-phase AC power. It does not consist of any type of disconnecting devices or supply fuses. To set up this product, you should first make sure that the overall voltage supply is within the correct range and all the connections are correctly made. It requires single-phase power for power sourcing between the Line 1 and Line 2/N connection. The 1398-PDM-075 has a peak output current of 75A and a continuous output current of 35A. The drive has a maximum loss of 300+ dissipative power shunt. It requires an H-4000 or an F-4000 Motor. The proper supply filters needed for this product are the MIF330 or the MDF336 for the Roxburgh model or the FN351-36-33 filter for the Schaffner model.
