The Allen Bradley 9101-1458 (1398-DDM-020X) Ultra 200 Digital Servo Drive is a single phase Digital servo drive with indexing capability, which provides microprocessor current, voltage, and position control of servo drives in many applications. This multi-purpose, stand-alone servo drive features built in Dual microcontrollers which provide advance current, velocity, and position loop control and it feature Intelligent Power Module (IPM) which provides a high frequency, digital Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) sine output waveform, which controls output current loop, and offers output protection like overcurrent, short-circuit and over temperature. The 9101-1458 has a single-phase input voltage range of 100 to 240 Volt AC, with an acceptable input range with 88 to 264 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz and it has a continuous input current of 19 Amps with peak output current of 20 Amps. This drive comes with an internal power source with a peak output power rating of 2.0 kW, and it also has an internal shunt module with peak shunt power rating of 4.5 kW. The 9101-1458 has ±10 Volt analog command interface which provides position, velocity or torque control, with a Quadrature encoder digital command interface that provides electronic gearing position and a Step/Direction digital command interface used for position control.
This drive has a single encoder device which provides Torque, velocity, and position control loop feedback, and it has 5 user selectable 24 Volt, current sinking, and optically isolated digital inputs which allows for specific program function. It also has 1 dedicated digital input, 4 user selectable 24 Volt outputs, 2 dedicated normally open (N.O) relay outputs, 2 dedicated 10-bit, 0 to 10 Volt analog inputs, and 2 user selectable analog 12-bit outputs. The 9101-1458 has 1 serial communication port with 2 wire connectors which allow for parallel connection of up to 32 servo drives using four-wire RS-485 multi-drop connection, and it uses the Windows-based Ultra Master software interface for easy and simplified drive programming. The 9101-1458 has operational temperature range of -5 to 55 degree Celsius (23 to 131 degree Fahrenheit) with a storage range of -40 to 70 degree Celsius (-40 to 158 degree Fahrenheit) at a non-condensing relative humidity limit of 5% to 95%, and it can resist 15G operational shock for 11 milliseconds. The 9101-1458 weighs 6.36 Kilogram, with a dimension of 360.6 x 104.1 x 226.8 millimeters, and it is UL, c-UL, and CE certified.
