The 9101-1459 is a servo drive from the ULTRA 200 Series of products manufactured by Allen-Bradley /Rockwell-Automation. The drive weighs approximately 6.48 kilograms (14.28 pounds) and it has a compact design. The 9101-1459 is 360.6 millimeters (14.2 inches) wide, 104.1 millimeters (4.10 inches) high, and 226.8 millimeters (8.93 inches) deep. The 9101-1459 can be used with a variety of motors, though it should be noted that the features of the drive are further improved when it is used in combination with an Allen-Bradley brushless servomotor. In that case, it provides a continuous torque from 0.34 Nm to 50.8 Nm (3 to 450 pounds on an inch). The drive comes with shunt regulators and it has an integral power supply. The drive requires an AC input current of 29 Amps RMS and an input voltage ranging between 100 and 240 RMS Volts (single-phase, nominal). The drive also has an input frequency rating between 47 and 63 Hertz and a Bus voltage ranging between 141 and 339 Volts DC.

Designed for industrial use, this drive is extremely durable and it has the capability to withstand temperatures as high as 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit). The 9101-1459 conforms to a number of European Union Directives, namely the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, Low Voltage Directive and the Machinery Directive. The drive is extremely easy to use because it features an interface which enables the diagnostics of motor operation. The afore-mentioned diagnostics enable a quick response from the users, thus reducing cost and saving precious time. These and other built-in features of the drive add to its appeal, as it offers great quality in a compact size.
