The Allen-Bradley 9101-1630 is a digital servo drive from the Ultra 200 product line. The alternate model number corresponding to the 9101-1630 is the 1398-DDM-030X. The 9101-1630 operates with single-phase 100 to 240 Volts AC input (at 50 and 60 Hertz). The rating for the continuous current at the input is 28 Amps. Its output voltage range is 100 to 240 Volts AC, with a continuous current output at 15 Amps, and a maximum current output at 30 Amps. The output frequency range is from 0 to 499 Hertz. The ratings for the continuous output power and the continuous output shunt power are 3.0 kilowatts and 50.0 kilowatts, respectively.  The maximum internal shunt power is 4.5 kilowatts.

The 9101-1630 includes an integrated serial port which supports RS-232 and RS-485 devices. The range of supported baud rates is from 1200 to 19200 bauds. A maximum of 32 drives can be addressed, with 10 drives being addressed from the rotary dip switch on the front panel. Digital control loops supported by the 9101-1630 include position control, velocity, and torque control loops. The maximum bandwidth for the velocity loop is 400 Hertz. The position loop specification is 1 millisecond. The current loop specification is 100 microseconds. The 9101-1630 weighs 6.48 kilograms.
