The Allen-Bradley 9101-1647 is a shunt resistor which features a single-phase 420 Volts AC voltage. The alternative part number of this shunt resistor is the 1398-SR9P. This shunt resistor servo drive features a 100-240 Volts AC input voltage. It also comes with a 10 to 150 Amps peak output current range and an input frequency that ranges between 47 and 63 Hertz. The torque of this servo motor ranges from 0.34 to 50.8 Nm. In addition, it also has a maximum output current flow of 500mA. The users will also find the 9101-1647 servo drive small and convenient when it comes to using it. It has been engineered to perform in-field upgrades with the use of its flash memory.

The 9101-1647 servo motor has a reduced component count which saves money, reduces inventory needs, and enhances reliability. It has also been set up with parameters that help in simplifying the usage of this drive especially when it comes to replacement and maintenance. This drive also offers full-performance phase-to-phase ground short circuit and phase-to-phase protection. This servo motor also comes with a multiprocessor design for digital current, velocity loop bandwidth, velocity, and position loops. This module is part of the 1398 Servo Motor Family and it features an Ultra plus PDM motion control system that has the capability of connecting to a positioning drive system. The positioning drive system that the 9101-1647 servo motor can be connected to has been incorporated with a programmable position controller and with a top-performance sinusoidal brushless motor velocity controller and both of them come in one package. The advanced microprocessor technology it contains controls both the velocity and position via one processor. This helps in eliminating analog interface need. In the event that the shunt resistor needs to be replaced, the user-selected parameters and the user programs will be automatically re-entered into the memory of the new shunt resistor module.
