The Ultra plus PDM motion control system within the 1398 series that the 9101-1697 can connect to is a positioning drive system which incorporates into a single package a top-performance sinusoidal brushless motor velocity controller and a programmable position controller. The 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor operates on an advanced microprocessor technology that controls both position and velocity via one processor, thus eliminating analog interface need. Every 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor comes already programmed with medium factory default settings. When the shunt resistor is replaced, the user programs, as well as the user-selected parameters, are automatically re-entered into the new shunt resistor’s module memory.
