The Allen-Bradley 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor, also known as the 1398-SR9P Shunt Resistor, features a 420V AC voltage that is single-phase. The 9101-1697 Servo Drive comes with an input voltage of 100-240V AC, it possesses an input frequency between 47 and 63Hz, and it has a peak output current range of 10-150A. Its torque ranges from 0.34-50.8Nm and it has an output current flow of 500mA maximum. The Allen-Bradley 9101-1697 Servo Drive is small and convenient. It can perform in-field upgrades with its flash memory, and its reduced component count enhances reliability, reduces inventory needs, and saves money. The setup of the 9101-1697’s parameters simplifies the drive, especially for maintenance and replacement. These drives offer full performance with both phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short circuit protection. It comes in a multi-processor design for position loops, velocity, velocity loop bandwidth, and digital current.

The Allen-Bradley 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor is a member of the Servo Drive 1398 family manufactured by Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley. The Ultra plus PDM motion control system within the 1398 series that the 9101-1697 can connect to is a positioning drive system which incorporates into a single package a top-performance sinusoidal brushless motor velocity controller and a programmable position controller. The 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor operates on an advanced microprocessor technology that controls both position and velocity via one processor, thus eliminating analog interface need. Every 9101-1697 Shunt Resistor comes already programmed with medium factory default settings. When the shunt resistor is replaced, the user programs, as well as the user-selected parameters, are automatically re-entered into the new shunt resistor’s module memory.
