The Allen-Bradley 150-B24NCD is a Smart Motor Controller. This controller comes from the Bulletin 150 SMC Dialog Plus series of products. The 150-B24NCD is 24 Amps rated open and non-combination motor controller with microprocessor controlled starting applicable to three-phase induction motors. The controller takes up to 600 Volts AC voltage on the input side and produces 20 Horsepower when supplied with 575 Volts AC at 60 Hertz. Although this controller was invented many years ago, at the time it was going very quickly in the direction of producing higher efficiency for three-phase motors, so even today it is a powerful tool for motor control in almost any industrial surrounding. The Allen-Bradley 150-B24NCD can execute 4 different control modes, which are Soft Start with Selectable Kickstart, Current Limit Start, Dual Ramp Start, and Full Voltage Start. Along with these 4 standard options, you can add one additional like pump control, SMB (Smart Motor Braking), preset slow speed, accu-stop, or slow speed with braking.

You can set device options (like initial torque value) over an integrated LCD display, supported with a keypad. The 150-B24NCD motor controller includes, as standard, electronic motor overload protection which is calculated automatically over an I2t algorithm. The control voltage for the unit is 100 to 240 Volts AC (50 to 60 Hertz). The controller has an open, IP00 rated enclosure. It should be operated protected in an electrical cabinet where the temperature fluctuates between -5 and 50 degrees Celsius (23 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). The device is CE marked and it is UL Listed.
