The 150-B54NBDA is a member of an SMC Dialog Plus Controller series manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its maximum input voltage rating is 480 Volts AC and it has a maximum control voltage of 240 Volts AC, 50 to 60 Hertz, 3-phase, 1 to 40 Horsepower, 54 Amp. It features soft stop control option with extended coast-to-rest that significantly reduces load shifting. This controller offers highly flexible speed control capabilities for 3-phase motor applications. The 150-B54NBDA SMC Dialog Plus Controller incorporates a display screen for providing metering and operation information and a five-button keypad that is available for entering commands into the controller. It offers a series of protective features for itself and the motor including voltage unbalance protection. This provides a dynamic phase rebalance by automatically adjusting the output voltage in order to balance 3-phase currents drawn by the motor.
The built-in intelligent power-saver of the 150-B54NBDA SMC Dialog Plus Controller automatically minimizes energy consumption on applications where the motor is either unloaded or drives a light load. This controller supports DriveTools programming and features a serial interface for communication modules (such as DeviceNet) and an optional Bulletin 1201 Human-Module Interface. Interference from external equipment rarely affects the 150-B54NBDA controller and it also has good resistance to vibration and shock, thereby supporting its use in the same environment with heavy-duty moving equipment. The input line of the 150-B54NBDA controller requires the use of a Bulletin 825 Converter module if it is to be used on a generator. Its rated operating voltage is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
