The 40382-811-03 controller is a controller that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The controller has a control input power of 100 to 240 Volts AC (-15 to +10%) 1-phase, at 50 to 60 Hertz, 24 Volts AC (-15 to +10%) 1-phase at 50 to 60 Hertz, and 24 Volts DC (-20 to +10%) 1-phase. Control power is connected to the controller at Terminals 11 and 12. The control power required by the controller is 40 Volt-Amps. For controllers rated at 97 to 1000 Amps, control power is also required for the heatsink fans. Depending on the specific application, additional control circuit transformer VA capacity may be required. If the control power input is rated at 100 to 240 Volts AC, the controller microprocessor will self-adjust to the input control voltage level.

This is intended to provide a pulse of current that is 55 percent of the full load current. The 40382-811-03 controller also has a dual ramp start that is essential for applications with varying loads. The users can program the allowed number of starts per hour at up to 99 starts to help eliminate motor stress that is often caused by starting over repeatedly within a short time.
