The Allen-Bradley 40382-814-02 board is an interface board for the SMC Dialog Plus controllers. It can be used for controllers with 650 to 1000 Amps current ratings and for all line input voltage ranges. The 40382-814-02 board is available as a spare part and it can be used to replace faulty interface boards. SMC Dialog Plus controllers are designed to support a wide range of starting modes including the soft start, current limit start, dual ramp start, and full voltage start. Additional controller features include metering, protective features, and communication interfaces. The controllers also support the soft stop, pump control, preset slow speed, smart motor braking, and slow speed with braking. SMC Dialog Plus controllers are designed for operation with motors rated for 1 to 1000 Amps at 200 to 480 or 200 to 600 Volts AC.

The SMC controllers may require input power for the onboard control circuitry in the range of 100 to 240 Volts AC or 24 Volts AC/DC. The operating temperature range for the 40382-814-02 board and for controllers with an open enclosure is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The operating temperature range for controllers with a protective enclosure around them is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature range for storage and transportation is from -20 to 75 degrees Celsius. The installation altitude for controllers with the 40382-814-02 interface board should not exceed 2000 meters.
