The 196465 (2098-DSD-HV050) Ultra 3000 High Voltage Digital Servo Drive by Allen-Bradley is a 5kW high-performance servo drive used for control of the servo motors. It has a main AC input voltage of 230-480V AC at 47-63Hz with a 7A nominal input current and a 6A surge on start-up. It also has an auxiliary input rating of 0.25A (nominal) with a 68A surge on start-up and it delivers an output rating of 22A (intermittent), 5000W, and 55 Joules Energy Absorption Capability at 460V AC. It has 470μF of internal capacitance and provides a BUS voltage protection at 810V DC. The 196465 (2098-DSD-HV050 has a factory-built 5.3KW internal shunt with 120 Ohms resistance and 750V DC/800V DC OFF and ON voltage. The drive communicates with other external devices using the RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 communication port that is connected using the Serial Port Connector (CN3) and it can transmit data at selectable rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400 baud. It has a functional temperature range from 0-55° C at a humidity range of 5-95% without condensation and is stored at a temperature range of -40-70° C.
