The 196477 (2098-DSD-HV150-SE) Ultra 3000 High Voltage Digital Servo Drive with SERCO Interface by Allen-Bradley is a programmable digital servo drive. It has a main input voltage rating of 230-480V AC (3-phase) with a nominal input current of 20A and a surge of 6A at 460V AC. It also has an auxiliary input current of 0.25A (nom) with 68A auxiliary current surge and it has an output rating of 15KW with 46A (intermittent) output current at 460V AC. The 196477 has a maximum energy absorption capability of 109 Joules at 460V AC and an internal Bus capacitance of 940μF. It has a factory-installed 25Ω, 25.6KW internal shunt with 750/800V DC OFF/ON voltage, and requires 25Ω, 25.6KW external shunt. It provides motor feedback through the Incremental, Sine/Cosine, Intelligent, and Absolute input encoders via a connection with the 15-pin high-density female D-Sub motor feedback connector. The drive communicates serially using the single RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 port with selectable 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400 baud rates and it connects to a SERCOS network via the fiber-optic SERCOS ring with 4 and 8 Megabit transmission rates through the 0-99 node addresses. The 196477 has a maximum power dissipation of 350W (plus dissipative shunt) and is built to function with a temperature range of 0-55° C around a non-condensing humidity range of 5-95%. The 196477 weighs approximately 10.44kg and has a dimension of 242.2mm x 360.7mm x 151.6mm.
