The 2098-DSD-005-DN Ultra 3000 Digital Servo DeviceNet Interface Drive by Allen-Bradley is a single-phase AC drive used for control of most industrial servo motors. It has an input voltage range between 100 and 240V AC at an input frequency of 47-63 Hertz, and it has a nominal input current of 5A with a current surge of 100A. The 2098-DSD-005-DN has an intermittent output current of 7.5A with a BUS capacitance of 1410μF and provides 400V DC BUS over-voltage protection. The drive has a power output of 0.5 kW at 230V AC and an Energy Absorption Capacity of 38J also at 230V AC. It also utilizes a Digital PID for control of control of velocity and a Digital PID with a feed-forward capability for positioning. The 2098-DSD-005-DN has 8 optically-isolated, 12-24V DC digital inputs, and 4 isolated 12-24V DC digital outputs and has one 30V DC, 1.0A N.O. relay output. In addition to it RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 port, the 2098-DSD-005-DN has a DeviceNet Network capability, with selectable 125, 250, and 500 kps, and auto-baud transfer rates, from a 0-63 nodes addresses.
